Fibreglass Geogrid

Fibreglass geogrid is manufactured with a layer of polypropylene nonwoven fabric and a layer of fibreglass geogrid, bonded together with glue. Fibreglass geogrid is made from fibreglass filaments which are coated with bitumen. Possessing properties such as high tensile strength in both MD and CD directions, low elongation, excellent temperature range, anti-age and alkali resistance. The nonwoven fabric is made from polypropylene, it performs a sealing function to complement the reinforcing action of the grid.

Compared to traditional materials, the use of fibreglass geogrid can reduce construction costs, extend service life of road and pavement deflection cracks

A layer of binder is sprayed on the existing surface before the installation of the geogrid amply saturating it with binder to ensure good adhesion and provide a waterproof membrane which helps to prevent water penetration and the consequent deterioration of the underlying courses.

Polyester Geogrid

Our polyester geogrid is manufactured from high tenacity polyester yarn and covered with a PVC coating.

Its function is to help prevent rutting and cracking by acting as a stiffner in the interlayer. It is ideal for sub-base application for the prevention of rutting.
