Winter Maintenance
The winter maintenance season runs from 1st October to the 15th May. CJV uses its fleet of 18 new prewet salt gritters to deliver precautionary and reactive treatments across Network B which makes up 256km of motorway and dual carriageway. CJV has a team of trained winter service decision makers who monitor weather conditions throughout the winter period. Treatments are delivered using a mixture of directly employed and contract winter service drivers, expertly managed by our team of Winter Service Supervisors.
