Common vehicle restraint systems (VRS) installation

CJV is an approved installer of all common vehicle restraint systems (VRS) located on the high-speed road network including – Tata Vetex, German RAL and ESP systems, Hill and Smith and Aximum. CJV has also established itself as a leading installer of new EN1317 Draft Part 7 P4 terminals. Uniquely, all TII-approved P4 terminals (OBEX, SMA and SafeEnd) are available to CJV and can be installed by our in-house crews. Aximum forms part of the Colas group and provides CJV with an extensive in-house range of H1, N2 and H2 VRS systems.

CJV engineering staff are trained in VRS Design. We also have four installation crews trained to LANTRA NHSS 10B and are also fully trained to self-perform in the re-tensioning of wire rope VRS system and in installing traffic management across all road categories.

CJV is a member of the Irish Barrier Association and has successfully delivered VRS installation contracts for Local Authorities across Ireland since 2016.
